The fourth annual CAREER AFFAIR happened at the Multi-Purpose Cultural Centre in Antigua on February 17,18 & 19, 2005, compliments of co-sponsors ABI Bank Ltd. & APUA PCS with support from the Ministry of Education.
The National Solid Waste Management Authority was pleased to participate in the ABIB/PCS CAREER AFFAIR 2005 as the initiative is a substantive tool to empower the youths and young professionals of Antigua and Barbuda.
The Career Affair was not only seen as an avenue for advertising the services and products of the Authority but it allowed the Authority to educate and inform members of the public about the roles and responsibilities of the various professionals within NSWMA.
At the close of the event, the Authority's display was awarded the "Most Career Information Guidance Display" in recognition of the commitment and effort put forward by the NSWMA Team.
The Authority is anticipating an equal or better showing come 2006 and will strive to make an indelible impression on the audience and judges of Career Fair 2006.
